For those of you that don't know, I'm back in Paris. And a few hours ago, I was reminded of a very ugly Parisian truth. Does anyone know how dangerous it is to take the subway after 10 pm with a dress?
I was with a friend and we were both wearing knee-length dresses (ok, maybe just a little shorter). And in about 20 minutes, we had at least 15 guys hitting on us. And let me say this, those guys are not cute, not nice and especially not well-mannered! God! It was so disturbing not to mention scary! In addition to that, I had a guy who was sitting opposite, introduce himself to me in a very pleasant manner. After a short and awkward conversation, he told us to watch our bags. I was watching my bag, and I was also watching my friend's bag. I was disappointed because seriously, I have been living here for a year now, I hadn't thought that I seemed so naive! But anyways, I'm glad we are safely back and I've decided to never take the subway after 10 pm in a dress again. (Thanks to H&M leggings and a very long cardigan that were bought on the spot, I was quite comfortable on our way back)
