My mom made the best fruit iced-tea I had ever tasted yesterday so I asked her for the recipe and decided to share it with you guys.
Peel the skin off the fruits and cut them into slices (you can keep the skin of the apples if you want to). Put everything inside a large pot and add a tablespoon of sugar or splenda if you want to cut calories. Fill 3/4 of the pot with water and bring it to a boil. Make a cup of concentrated tea using 3-4 teabags and add this to the pot while it's still hot. Grate some ginger on top and add some more water. Leave it in the fridge for a couple of hours until it's chilled and don't forget serve it with ice cubes and mint leaves for garnish. By the way, I always add a little more sugar into mine because I'm a sucker for everything sweet.
Bon appétit !
